The screenshots make it look like they're replacing the set camera angles with a Resident Evil 4-style perspective, which probably means a lot of the tension will be gone, but I think it could be pretty good if they make some changes to enemy placement and behaviour.

Here are those screenshots I mentioned: http://www.nintendo.co.jp/n10/conferenc ... index.html?

I don't know Icemael, from what I've played of the game (just a little bit after meeting a seemingly invincible ghost), the camera angles don't really help to build tension in some special way, and those screenshots actually look more immersive than what I've played. The original camera angles do a very good job at showing around the environments, but control is poor and a ghost popping out behind you isn't scary at all since you can see it even before hearing it.

They should have gone all the way and make it first-person, just like when you enter combat mode, and maybe add some shaky camera effects.

The Xbox version of the game has a first-person mode, but I don't find it anywhere near as tense as the regular mode (in fact, I find that games that give me direct control of my vision generally have a very hard time getting me nervous). There's just something very unnerving about not always being able to see what's right in front of your character, and the moments when the camera snaps to a different position, revealing a ghost in a place I couldn't see before, perhaps watching or stalking me, are simply wonderful.
