I already have the Japanese versions of some of these, but the prices were so low that I added the US ones to my cart as well, just because. R-Type was the main thing I wanted to get, since I'd like to play through it again and catch some of the backstory I missed the first time round, and maybe go all the way through the Bydo campaign (which I didn't bother trying in the Japanese version), in preparation for:

It's really nuts that no one picked this game up for localization. It seems to be so much better than the original, going by videos and such, and the original was already a very good game.
