Lush, but in the Earthworm Jim sense. And 10 times as bad. It makes Earthworm Jim seem like a Japanese game.

Some of the elements are nice, but it's the character design that does it. Ugly for the most part, with no cohesion at all. At least Earthworm Jim was relatively cohesive.
