Another wonderful article. I enjoy the social aspect. There was a girl at my arcade who was very good at Bomb Jack and Wonder Boy who I quite admired. There's something very attractive about chicks who can clock an arcade machine!
These articles make me sad though. It's depressing that the social aspect of games has gone out the window in recent years. LAN cafes aren't the same. Everybody wears headphones and looks into separate screens. People rarely spectate or spark up conversations with other players.
What happened to the uncle's arcade in the end? Perhaps that's a subject for a later article?
