[DS] Kage no Densetsu -The Legend of Kage 2-

Sequel to the 1985 arcade side-scroller. Expect wildly "innovative" use of the stylus and the second screen.

Comes out in February.

Like Recap says, "Aparte de la broma de la doble pantalla, tiene buen aspecto..." (Apart from the joke of the double screen, looks good ...)

Damn I played this on NES in the early 90's. Glad they are making a sequel.

Am I the only one worried by the presence of what looks like a lifebar. I played Demon Sword on the NES and I blame wedding a lifebar to Legend of Kage style jumping and slashing for much of what's wrong with that game.

You never played Top Hunter?

The Garou Densetsu 3 of scroll action games.

That's a one-second one, though.
Or if they didn't want players to credit feed, since basic design choices all point to COIN OP.

Also, X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse, by Capcom. It combines platforming with combat mechanics that are part beat 'em up, and part fighter. You can use quarter circle and dragon punch motions to execute moves. It seems to be a spin-off of X-Men: Children of the Atom. Although the game has no ending credits, I bet it was designed by the Rockman X team, as the stage design and music are reminiscent of the Rockman X series.
