[Wii] Oneechanbara Revolution

D3 is bringing their series of horrible hack-and-slashers to the Wii, again at full price.

This time I am not paying 60 bucks for it. If I can't get someone to send me a copy for free, the internet will have to make do without a review of this game.

Maybe the people here or on Gamengai (where I lurk) are just rubbing off on me, but I'm starting to feel really cynical about the majority of games that've been announced the past few months.

This one isn't helping.

Yeah, lol. Gamengai is my favorite forum. There are only half a dozen regular posters, but they are some of the most knowledgable gamers I've ever met. You should get an account.

Same here, though I've stuck to lurking for the time being. I opened an account awhile ago, but have held off from getting more actively involved. I figure I'll start posting sooner or later, when I feel like I have a little more to contribute.

That, and I'm wary of getting into some tedious, semantic crap with Recap. He knows his stuff, but his attitude annoys me sometimes. I wasted enough years arguing on forums and IRC that I try to avoid repeating that experience :p

I am sure your attitude would annoy him as well. And for the record, I hardly ever see Recap getting into "semantic" crap. You should look that word up in a dictionary.

On the subject at hand, it seems the game is now called Oneechanbara Revolution, and it's looking quite as crappy as the 360 iteration:

February 7. I'll probably end up buying it. I think the site needs as many one-star reviews as it can get.
