I think G.Darius is an excellent game, but then again, I love boss battles. The graphics are nowhere close to the first three games, but still surprisingly good for a 90's 3D STG. Some parts of the soundtrack and a couple of visual scenes are just breath-taking. The new multiplier score mechanic added a lot of sense to the original Darius score system as well, which heightens it to at least the same level as Darius Gaiden (overall impression).

Saturn Darius Gaiden has sentimental value for me because it's the first arcade game I beat without continuing. I also had Darius Twin a long time ago which I thought was cool at the time (it helped that the only other shooter I played was Sub-Terrania.)

"Sentimental Value" sounds like a good scoring category.
