Worth reading their one-paragraph analysis for each game. GTA4 is only on the list, for example, because it is a poorly optimized port that brings machines to their knees, not because it compares in image quality to any of the other games.

Also worth noting that every single game runs on the developer's proprietary engine, underscoring once more what I said in the SteamOS thread: that open source is a mediocre solution for non-demanding applications, and utterly unfit for high-end work.

Looking forward to finally setting up my game room and uberPC, and trying all these games out. The screenshot for the Hitman game especially is particularly tantalizing. I had no idea it looked that good. (All screens I've seen of it everywhere make it look fairly mediocre, especially in terms of art direction.)
