Chronology of turn-based SRPGs

Thanks for the suggestions. I will look into them for the next update. In the meantime do me a favor and start listing games in this format:

Game 1, Game 2, Game 3, etc.

I don't need you to give me Wikipedia's strict transliterations or random dates and other details you got from wherever. If I end up adding your suggestions I will use data from official sites, Japanese fans sites and/or the Japanese Wikipedia. I don't need anything more from people other than the games' titles -- and it doesn't even matter which region the titles are from. A simple Google search will give me all the information that I don't already know. So let's try to keep this thread nice and tidy.

I added Laevatein and Devil Survivor, but not Valkyrie Profile. The Japanese Wikipedia has it down as an "RPG", not a "simulation RPG" (which is what SRPG stands for in Japan), and they are rarely wrong. In any case, I guess I need to watch some youtube videos to make sure.

I also added Stella Deus from your second list. The Japanese Wikipedia says there are also two Stella Deus mobile games, so I'll add those later.

Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume definitely fits the SRPG definition.

Sorry, I wasn't sure whether you just wanted names, or details and links and such. I couldn't find any decent video of Valkyrie Profile DS but I did find some screenshots.

There are unique characters with their own attacks, stats, levels, equipment, etc. It's all done in a turn based grid setting, with an added system that allows allies close together to gang up on a target.

In the meantime, you are free to suggest more games, but please go over the thread to try and make sure you do not repeat anyone else's suggestions. It's not a big deal if you do, but I'd rather keep the thread as tidy as possible.
