This is fuckin impressive.

There is a trial version available on the site, and just from its two stages the game is already more impressive than the recent Gunhound [ > ], which was another Valken inspired action game that unfortunately was a big letdown, though notable for being a commercial release.

Gigantic Army has the standard Valken feel and system, but its main draws are the superb graphics and amazingly huge bosses (and lots of them).

The game feels very early though, and the presentation is still quite rough (all the menus, the sound and other little aspects) but providing the developer puts lots of polish on this, it looks like it could be something very special.

Really glad to see stuff like this keep getting made... No idea when I'll make some time to play them, but it's nice to know there's a little backlog being built while I am doing other stuff.

Acaba de salir la primera 'demo' de este prometedor clon de Valken, con gráficos en alta y bastante agilidad, de los creadores de Armed Seven.

Just watched the first minute or so of this (don't want to spoil it) and it's looking great. A far cry from Armed Seven.
