From their God of War III review, Apr 2010 issue, p.88:

The stuff of legend, then? Indeed. Although, perhaps fittingly, one with nothing new to say.

Oh, God of War III has nothing new to say. How disappointing. :(

And I had been expecting it to say something new -- something perhaps even profound.

But hey, there are quite a few 3D hack and slashers coming out these days, so perhaps the next one might have something new to say. Let's look forward to it then.

Just found out that GTAIV got a 10 from Edge.

Throughout the entire history of the magazine they've only handed out 13 10s, and one of them went to GTAIV, lol.

And they gave GTAIII a 6, lol.

Talk about overcompensating!

And people consider this the most highbrow videogame publication ever. I'll take even Gamepro over it.

Wherein my friends on rllmuk report that the magazine has received a redesign, losing the "Videogame Culture" tagline (which now officially becomes mine), and adding Leigh Alexander as a columnist. It's truly insane what reach that girl has. Who'd have thunk that they would hire her in a BRITISH videogame magazine? It's like she's the only female in the world who's so good at the pseudo-"cultural" angle, so they had no other choice.
