First Shining game with 3D graphics, if I am not mistaken.

And they are the same N64-level type shit that's standard in throwaway PSP 3D games.

Shining Force 3 had 3D graphics. All the environments were 3D, and the attack cutaways were full 3D. They were pretty awful though.

Yeah, I was not thinking of the SRPGs when I made that comment. I should have been, really, but when I say "Shining" games I am usually thinking of the J- and ARPGs. The SRPGs are of course the best games, at least as far in the series as I have explored, and I would be surprised if any of the ones I haven't played can beat them.
