These comments apply to the PSP-side of the store. I've no idea what's up with all the other systems.

Basically, the JP store has nothing. Just a bunch of shovelware, and not even that much of even that. The US store, on the other hand, has SHITLOADS of stuff, including most of the best stuff. Like, the JP store doesn't have R-Type Tactics or Goku Makaimura, but the US store has them! At like $10 to $15 moreover! And the Prinny games, and lots of stuff by Sting and Nippon Ichi, etc. No idea what's up with that, but that is how things stand.

What's astonishingly retarded about both stores, though, is that there's no resuming of broken downloads, and when some games weigh in at 1.5GB for christsake, that is a serious issue. I mean, my PSP is at firmware version 6.60, for christsake, you'd think they'd have thought to include a download manager that PCs have had for the last decade or decade-and-a-half or whatever!

Anyway. I am downloading Jeanne d'Arc right now (at $22.99), and after that the first Prinny ($9.99), and something else as well to spend my entire $50 card on. I would have liked that localized "Class of Heroes" dungeon crawler, but that costs like $10 or so over my limit, so I'll get it later. Of course I ALREADY have all these games, if not indeed in several versions, but I want them on a memory stick so that I don't have to carry around a bunch of UMDs and keep switching them around. The only UMD on the machine will be Goku Makaimura Kai until I clear it.

So use this thread to bitch about the lack of download manager, and to alert people on cool deals (not necessarily only regarding PSP games... -- but only games, not movies or porn or whatever the hell else Sony is peddling these days on there).
