Compile Heart is working on a sequel to Mugen Souls with a new character vying for the title “Undisputed God.” You play as Shirma in Mugen Souls Z who uses… a casket for a weapon. Sachika Misawa (Kuroyukihime in Accel World) voices Shirma. Ace (Yuki Matsuoka) and Nao (Rie Kugimiya) are her followers.
Dengeki PlayStation explains there are twelve worlds for Shirma to conquer and that means plenty of battles. Mugen Souls Z has been revised to add in more cooperative attacks and a mysterious component called “Chou-Chou Energy.”
Kenta Sugano is the director and Keiji “Shooting Star” Inafune (not the Inafune from Comcept) is the producer. A-10, Nanamedakei, and Ryoji are character designers.
