Excellent article. I used to play all 3 of these back in the day (I was born in 1983 but Ireland was often a couple of years behind with regards to new releases).

Psychic 5 was bleedin' huge. The cabinet in question was in a village a few miles out of town so I didn't get a chance to play it often.

Man, how brilliant would it be to have an uncle who owned an arcade? I would have been in heaven.

A relative of ours had an arcade in the seaside town where my mother's parents are from. I still had to pay, however, so it made no difference...

I am also the exact same age as Francesco. AND I used to be a swimmer too, though not at such a young age.

AND he's Italian and I am Greek, so there's some sort of connection there too.

It's like we were separated at birth or something.

A brilliant article. I'm italian too, and even if I never played the games he mentions, I remember being in a similar situation. I searched for coin ops in every bar I could reach with my bicycle and played anything I found. There were a lot of MVS cabinets around, that's probably why I like the Neo so much.
