Capcom's Senior Online Marketing and Community Manager, who goes by the handle Tenebra, confirmed that Tatsunoko vs. Capcom will be headed over to European shores today on the Capcom Europe forums.
No other details were made known though, but good news regardless.
Tenebra wrote:Yes, it's coming to Europe. That's all I can say for the moment.

The Wii can be soft-modded easily (and freely) and the modification is reversible. There is absolutly no reason no to do it.

This “newer” version of TvC, currently dubbed Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, removes one character due to licensing issues, and adds five new ones, online gameplay, more mini-games and an enhanced story mode.
• Wi-Fi Online gameplay allows worldwide matches.
• Four battle modes include Friend, Rival, Free and Ranked Battles.
• Match-ups are not restricted to just “Friends”.

Some of the things that were removed from the first press release are:
* Instead of saying there are 26 characters, now it's "over 20."
* Online play goes from being definitely in the game to a feature "they're looking into."
* They don't discuss any of the other online features in this version of the press release.
