Nuevo S-RPG de pinta demoledora de la mano de Bandai. Huele a Flight Plan, pero la calidad de las fotos de la Famitsu de la semana impide cualquier conclusión:

I am not a big fan of the SD look for Fire Emblem-style battles (or of SD in general), but otherwise I am in.

I am a little worried that the sexual theme will mean that they will not pay much attention to the mechanics... I am hoping I am wrong.

Other than arcade games I've been enjoying Queen's Blade: Spiral Chaos for the PSP, which was released this past Thursday. You'd never know it was out if you went to any Kyoto game shop over the weekend, however, as I couldn't find a copy for sale in any of them (I couldn't even find a display box). Either the print was small, or it was really popular, or both. Regardless, the game is incredible, and has widely exceeded my expectations. It has a great cast of characters, a refreshing, over-the-top quality, and so far it's non-stop fun, with no lulls or drab spots. The fights are also strategic and challenging. For me, this is the psp game of the year.

I find the notion that the game is "incredible" very hard to believe. All indications point to a dumbed-down throaway SRPG. Worth noting that outside of shooters EOJ has pretty bad taste in games (and perhaps also within shooters, outside of Cave).
