It has this kind of cheap artstyle that looks decent from a distance, until you look a little closer and see that, yep, it's cheap. I am talking about the in-game graphics, not the cutscenes, of course, which look bad straight away.
I thought it was worth posting because I'd never have expected them to make a 2D game, let alone a 2D action one. It sounds like it's not "Souls-like" or "rogue-lite" either, which, if true, would be mindboggling.
