I got three of the Downburst Patch Bundle, just in case some of you guys missed it and need it in the future.

I also got the True Valor, Clawed Steel and New Dawn bundles. Only one of each this time.

I had to melt my Downburst bundle, so I am reserving one of yours, shubn. Also if you could grab one of each of the latest three patch bundles for me and keep them until I sell some crypto... Tomorrow starts Alien Week and I fear they might go off sale. And if not tomorrow then definitely next week with the new patch. I don't want to have to pay $900 for them next year lol.

3 bucks cheaper than the earlier patch bundles. I snapped it up. I had thought you can only get these suits from the facilities, so you'd need to switch into them in the middle of a warzone, but now we have at least one we can bring with us. recoil has already made a tactical plan in the Cult Command Discord channel (more on this soon), so maybe he wants to amend it to take advantage of this.

If anyone else buys the bundle let us know here so we know how many suits we have and who has them.

P.S. If you have a C1 and this bundle, you gain the privilege of showing up to our ops in your Hazard C1 as the radiation team. Bonus points if the ship carries 2 or 3 hazmat members instead of just you. You can also grab the lighter hazmat suits from the Subscribers Store released months ago and use them for lighter jobs.

Industrial Corporations Patch Bundles

Unread postby shubn » 13 Aug 2025 11:25

These are the current patch bundles, containing a MOLE paint, a set of the new Strata armor, and the new VOLT pistol. You can get each corporation's bundle individually, or the one containing everything for a discount. I bought one big bundle.

I should have posted this earlier since there are likely only a few days left to get them, until the new patch drops either this week or next week.

I grabbed everything. It was only $60 with my zero-tax Canarian address.

We can use the Pyro gear to run those new repair missions and industrial missions in general in Pyro. That's definitely the most useful part of this offer, so if anyone just wants to buy one of the bundles, buy this one.

The rest we'll use in Stanton for the same reason, ideally for missions connected with Greycat and Shubin.

Let us know if anyone buys anything.

P.S. There's a decent chance the new patch will drop tonight after the ISC detailing the new event, so I wouldn't delay if you plan to buy something.

They removed the discount from the big bundle, so it's now $75. I bought a second one before the price change, in case someone needs it.

That's crazy, I've never heard of them removing a bundle discount. Maybe it's something automated due to the imminent patch release.

So cool we now have 4 bundles which would give us a full MOLE crew for any of the three industrial corps. Moreover, if we use all the corps simultaneously we can have a 12-player industrial crew with 3 MOLES, and that's not including the numerous Stanton megacorp Strata armors we've gained through the Resource Drive.

Golden Blossom Patch Bundle

Unread postby icycalm » 17 Aug 2025 19:12

Gear - Golden Blossom - Patch Bundle $23.00
https://robertsspaceindustries.com/en/p ... le-Warbond

I got this.

Do I like the flowers? Eh, they're okay. It's not that it doesn't look good, it's that it doesn't match anything else in the game pretty much. But from a distance, if you can't see it's flowers, it does match all the executive-type exclusive stuff, so I am giving it to the Supreme Commanders. Is there a use for it if you don't plan to play a SupCom? Sure, we can be his scouts/assassins/bodyguards etc. And the backpack can also be used on his other suits, like for example the gold Artimex that was recently released.

It's a cool-looking bundle, it's just weird.

P.S. Also interesting that it's the first time they're offering a gun attachment in the pledge store. At least in recent years, maybe there's something before my time I haven't come across yet.

I bought and melted the Golden Blossom Patch Bundle to see if it would appear in my Buy Backs, and it indeed does, so you could do this to "save" these limited bundles. Of course, them being Warbond means you do have to keep putting new money in for every new bundle, but you can buy them back later with store credit if you melt them.

I bought two more, so I now have three, or rather two plus one in Buy Backs.

With CitCon almost here it's time to talk about the CitCon pack. Several people have already reported buying it, and I bought one day one also, so I am counting 7 in all: recoil, shubn (x3), ExiledOne, ysignal, icycalm. If anyone melts, let us know. You should be reporting these transactions in this thread the same way you report vehicle transactions in the Cult Fleet and Cult Capital Fleet threads so we know what we have.

Regarding the flight suit, which is the only item revealed so far, it has already been pointed out on Reddit that it was probably inspired by Star Wars: https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/co ... on_goodies

Plastic-Crack wrote:It also looks like a modern flight suit. Which the Star Wars flight suit is likely also based on.

Hashwagon wrote:To me it looks more like aircraft carrier deck crew gear. Might be a nice touch for Idris hangar RPers until refueling, reloading, re-arming, repair gunning is more of a thing.

Since now we have two flight suits in the game, including last year's CitCon pack, I decided to add them to the Spec as the Inquisitor and Master Chief flight suits respectively, meaning this is the Inquisitor's and last year's bulkier, cooler-looking one is the Master Chief's. I know I gave last year's to ysignal since it's green, but I am aching to use both now and see them paired with F7s and Scorpiuses, so we will ignore the coloring for now and just add them to the Spec this way. As for the Captain and above, they'll keep the undersuits they're currently using for flight suits.

Does that mean everyone has to buy this CitCon pack? No, we already have 7, and also a bunch from last year's for Master Chiefs, so 7 + say 2 Master Chiefs gives us 9 for use at any one time, which is plenty for now. Of course more pack purchases wouldn't hurt, and this pack is loaded with stuff that I am sure will be super cool, and the price is a steal for what you're getting. But we don't strictly need more at this point, and if more players drop into our flight-only missions in which we'll be using these suits, they can come as Medics, Technicians, Rangers or whatever, so there won't be a reason for anyone to be left out. And we'll figure out efficient ways to distribute the flight suits to online players, plus eventually the lockers will be working and org storage etc. and everything will be a breeze.

So this is just a heads-up on what we'll be using the flight suits for from this and last year, and I'll be talking about the rest of the items after they're revealed on Saturday. The armors especially look very tasty and there's already rife speculation on Reddit about them that I haven't had time to post. People are saying that one of them will be Predator-like because there's an old concept going around that looks similar to one of the outlines, and I would love that as I could make it into the Cult Hunter or Cult Monster Hunter Spec: https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/co ... or_we_want

Space commies would work great with Nyx, so we'll see.

Lots of speculation also on the weapons: https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/co ... on_goodies

TheGameBoiGamer wrote:So who thinks this might be in the Citcon goodies pack?

I was thinking about what the mystery weapons might be and remembered we never got the space AK they showed off as a 4.0 weapon.

If not the space AK what other weapons do we know about but haven't had added to the game.

The crossbow maybe?

ScrubSoba wrote:I still find it strange that they added Pyro, but kept all of these Pyro weapons hidden away and not obtainable/loot as in the Ripper.

The way they spoke about these made it sound like they would be the most common weapons in Pyro: home-made improvised firearms and the likes.

DukeLion_33 wrote:They also teased a sword and a HMG in that same video and any of those would be super dope. I've personally been wondering what happened to all those weapons so it'd be sick to see any of them.

Do_What_Thou_Wilt wrote:I'm convinced the crossbow is either going to be the prize behind some absurd new 'kill 50 players' PvP event, or it's still being kept somewhere secure behind a 'break glass in case of funding shortage' sign.

There are tons of DIY weapons shown off in various videos that were meant for Pyro but haven't made it into the game, and since Nyx is also a lawless Mad Max-type system, they might put them in there. Plus the crossbow and the katana have been teased for ages now, so maybe they're in the pack.

All this to say that this will surely be the coolest CitCon pack ever, and since last year's is going for $250+ now, you can expect the same to happen to this one. Officially you have until Saturday to make a decision, but normally they leave it on sale for at least one-two weeks after CitCon, but I am not taking any chances and I advise interested parties to do the same. Wait until CitCon at the latest to see the contents, and then make a decision in the weekend at the latest if you want to avoid surprises.

I am happy we've already secured 7 at any rate, and I look forward to ensuring we use every item to the max in the Spec.

So it turns out the CitCon armors are medium and heavy and they have bones on them... I like their look. Very Rusty, very unique for the verse. We haven't had anything so scrappy-looking so far. I thought about making them Pirate armors, but the bones gave me other ideas. We HAVE to use them for the Monster Hunter Spec, they are perfect for Monster Hunter Inquisitor and Master Chief. And we'll have occasion to use them this coming Saturday to hunt the Onyx Yormandi boss! So if you have a pack you're set for Saturday, and if you don't have one, shubn has two extras, plus keep in mind that each pack has two armors, so we can hook you up.

I am now thinking what to do about a Monster Hunter Captain. And iirc, Wikelo has a white Antium with bones that would be perfect for us. Just have to loot or buy it. Post in the Looting or Dark Market threads if you have anything to contribute to this goal.

This guy's gear videos are next-level, and so is this Goodies Pack. It's better than last year's which was CIG's best by that time. A decade ago these packs were just the trophy, but they've been expanding them steadily year by year, and this one is incredible. The flight suit is fantastic, the leather undersuit is unique (and perfect for the Monster Hunters), the Rusty armors and weapons look like next-gen Rust, and even the Vanduul plushie is cool (and btw we're giving all these to Exiled to throw on his beds and couches). 100% this will cost $300 in a year.
