Btw, THIS is the handheld killer-app. There is NO OTHER type of game that justifies handheld usage. Every other type of game is worse on handhelds. This type is worse too, but not when you're logging in on the go to do admin stuff to your character/base/clan that you can't do any other way at the time. Handhelds finally found a use!

The above was an older video from March. Here is one from July:

IM0001 wrote:Luckily the Gamepad Map that is default with the game is already really good. A few things needed tweaking and the Deck does have a few extra buttons to add mappings too, but once you get it figured out, its pretty dang comprehensive. I'm still just trying to get used to the stick layout which is why I eat a rock at the end there.
Dragonrabbit wrote:it's bonkers that it runs that well. i wonder how well it handles the cities?
IM0001 wrote:Lorville runs about 14-16FPS. Not great but not terrible enough to make it unplayable.
That city is still a little cursed and was the only place my Deck (And my main Desktop PC) crash trying to just get out of that dang city lol.
Luckily a reboot and fresh server seemed to fix that so who knows.
Zane DragonBorn wrote:And this is without the future performance mods that people will do with the steam deck. Just imagine how much FPS we can see with those. Thanks for the video, really surprised by this.
So very playable in the above attempt. And here's a guide how to install it, from the same guy of that second video:
