This guy has two very cool ideas in his setup, apart from the Halo helmet that makes the room:

1. Peg boards. Fantastic for holding up all your various control-related gear without taking any space on your desk or in drawers, while contributing to the ambiance of the room in much the same way a weapons display would.
2. Discord monitor in portrait mode. I find myself alt-tabbing to Discord all the time especially when playing MP games with lots of people, so having it on in its own monitor would make sense. Hook that monitor up to an old laptop or one of those tiny cheap NUC PCs, and your main PC doesn't have to run Discord at all. One drawback would be that the Discord PC wouldn't pick up your games, but you can add them manually, no big deal.
His main monitor however is tiny, so he needs to work on that. This is what a PC monitor should look like:
It's 55 4K inches, and it's called a "TV". This is CULT|ysignal's, and CULT|Diamond Dawg has a similar model. This is the kind of display gamers play games on in the 21st century, not on Game Boy Color size displays, sorry.
