In terms of guide rewards, the only new one compared to last year is the Freelancer paint, which is given out for the Refresher Basics category. I am doing this right now with my main "helping" CULTCLONE-1. Last year I was using my Shadow and my old laptop, but this year I only have the new laptop so I am just logged into two browsers instead. The "training" requires 30 mins so I'll leave it running for 35. Hopefully it's not too late to get the reward. They say the last day is the 14th, which is today, but I am not sure if this means that they stop it on the 14th, or the 15th. We'll see. (Edit: They say "through July 14" so I should be good.)

In addition to the new Freelancer paint there is a new one for the Intrepid but it's locked in a Warbond Starter Pack. Also, the Nomad's paint has been taken off the guide rewards and is also only available through a Warbond Starter Pack this year. I suppose they had to take something out in order to put in the new Freelancer paint in the reward categories.

Also the cool weekend-specific rewards from last year aren't available this year. Glad I got them last year.

There's also no referral reward this year, no new coin, etc. Overall, a lacklustre Foundation Festival this year, but hopefully I'll get the new Freelancer paint to give to ysignal when he needs it. If anyone got any of this stuff, bump this thread and let us know. You should still have until the end of the day to grab something. Looks like the Cutter paint is also new and also locked to a Warbond Starter Pack. Unless it was offered in previous years before I started following the game. At any rate, I don't have it. So I am missing the Intrepid and Cutter ones, assuming of course that I manage to get the Freelancer one today.

Got the Freelancer paint. Looking forward to grabbing the Intrepid and Cutter ones next year if they're added to the guide rewards.

Let me get this straight. When you are most of the way through the Foundation Festival event, you update the list of rewards for one additional category, do not retroactively apply that reward to people who have already completed those sessions, and only communicate it via a comment on a Spectrum post that you have to sort by New to even find in the comments section.

Way to go CIG, really supporting the veterans of the game out there who are trying to help the newbies learn. I haven't seen anyone talk about this here on Twitter or anywhere else for that matter because it was buried immediately to all but the most hardcore Spectrum forum readers. #StarCitizen

It do be like that sometimes. It's a huge game, and communicating its myriad of changes can be challenging. This is one time when leaving everything to the last moment worked to my advantage.
