PC Starfinder: Afterlight

Starfinder finally comes to Steam and it's not by Owlcat but by yet another random studio no one has ever heard that's betting it all on Paizo properties. To be fair, that's also how Owlcat started, and look where they are now. Also interesting that the rules are Second Edition, which is just now launching. Less good, the graphics and art style don't impress, though note it's alpha images and the KS hasn't even launched yet. Also, it's singleplayer, like Owlcat's games, though you can always get around that with some screen-sharing app. They're aiming for a 40-60-hour game with "hundreds of unique paths". We'll see about that. At any rate more Paizo properties on Steam is always a good thing, and it gives me yet another unlockable minigame to add to my metaverse, so I am glad.

P.S. It seems to be an original story as opposed to a conversion of an adventure, which is good for me because I prefer original unlockables not retreads of adventures I've already run or plan to run, but bad for the Steam-only crowd because they'll get a worse adventure written by programmers...
