This will be the November mission chain that was detailed at CitCon. I have timestamped the video to the start of that segment:

It shows the QV Services stations, the docked Polaris and the nearby asteroid bases where the action will take place. It's basically Onyx facilities in space/as a space station. But unlike Onyx which will eventually be implemented as a single facility when instancing goes in, I think they want to leave these as multiple stations spread throughout the system, which does make sense.

And then I think for December they plan to give us the TSG event, whatever its final name ends up being, which will be in the vein of Frontier Fighters Finale, Resource Drive, etc., and which is easier for them to implement because it doesn't require a new location.

That's their MO now: one month with a cinematic permanent mission chain/"sandbox activity" based in a new location, and the next month a more lightweight temporary event that is however heavy on grinding but gives FOMO web account rewards to compel you to complete them.

It's not a bad plan at all, and I can't wait to start playing Sworn Enemies which I am guessing will launch less than a month from now, on November 20 at the start of IAE 2955.

Obviously players will not be able to invade Vanduul space when 1.0 drops as originally planned. I think CIG plans to have the Vanduul invade Nyx sometime around or after 1.0, and everything we're seeing here is building up to that. Squadron 42 will be the backstory that sets the stage and draws people into the lore, then when they join SC the Vanduul are back and we must defend Nyx! They will likely release Squadron at Invictus, either in 2026 or 2027, to stay away from the new GTA date.

This better not have been the "Love Doll Companion".

The new story mission in Nyx is complex and extremely fun

Hyperion is the last mission of Dark Territory.

The feedback from testing is phenomenal for this mission chain. Much more hype than Dark Territory, which was already very good. Saturday November 22 is almost certainly when we'll be playing it, so do what you can to make it, it'll be epic.

If you aren't playing Star Citizen in 2025, you aren't playing anything.

What other game has this level of art direction? Even movies would struggle to compete.

Sworn Enemies #1 Briefing Intro

Unread postby icycalm » 22 Nov 2025 14:19

So CIG added a rep grind with a faction to unlock this mission chain, and the reaction has been mixed...

It's unmonitored, lawless space bordering a Vanduul territory JP; you either man up, git gud or do both; I dig it and can't wait for more duul shenanigans.

It was, at a point, just words everyone ignored. Worth paying attention to these days though it seems :)

I posted my opinion on Discord.

I wrote:Man it's so cool they force you to grind for rep before unlocking the story missions AND the grind is challenging, AND the story missions are challenging. CIG is improving at geometric rate.

Plus it gives something to do to players who want to play the moment a new patch drops but without spoiling the story for themselves. Genius.

It's funny that the docking collar is broken because of bugs, but you can just as well imagine from this sentence that everything in Levski breaks down a lot because of commie/"diverse" work ethic lol.

Dunno why InterSec doesn't have a logo yet. Maybe because they're new. Hurts my immersion. Even the wiki doesn't have a logo for them, or really any details, because they were just introduced a few weeks ago at CitCon: https://starcitizen.tools/InterSec_Defense_Solutions

shubn wrote:I think that's the mission we're looking for. We had to complete around 20 contracts or more.

Took them around 3 hours going by Discord timestamps. Very respectable amount of time, and keep in mind it's 2 guys in one of the biggest ships in the game. So who knows if the rest of us will be able to gain this rep for ourselves solo. I think I've seen some people saying they've done it, so it's possible. At any rate, we're all set for Sworn Enemies #1 today, and shubn will be giving the briefing as he'll be commanding.

Sworn Enemies #1 Main Briefing

Unread postby shubn » 22 Nov 2025 14:35

We don't have much in the way of tactics prepared as we don't really know what we're facing. So for our first run we're taking a Perseus (default paint is all-black so that's our Pirate Spec paint), and fully-crewing it, or just about, depending on our exact numbers. If we get wiped we have two choices, either we go back with a Pirate Caterpillar, 2 Shivs, and Cutlasses (maybe one of them Red for respawns), or with a cap ship: Polaris or Idris (both of which have medbays). I will decide on the spot that approach based on how our first run goes. Players getting killed can come back from Levski with Buccaneers.

Image

We're going with the Perseus first both because it's the new toy, but also because its full crew of 7 is just about the number of regulars we tend to have on Saturdays (5-7). Another advantage of starting out with it is that it's just one ship, so prep should be fast and easy. Maybe it'll get the job done and no more complications will be needed.

If we manage to complete the mission at least once, we could go back with a different fleet for the sake of variety.

I am coming as Pirate Supreme Commander, recoil as Pirate Master Chief, and everyone else including clones as Pirate Inquisitors.

Everyone should put pirate paints on all your ships before leaving home so you can claim-teleport them to Levski if needed.

Remember: NPCs don't fuck around anymore, so keep your guard up.
