Regarding the infinite loading, error 41013 issue, CIG are aware of it and mentioning it in their Hotfix Central thread on Spectrum: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spec ... ix-central

I did two character repairs yesterday to no avail. It was still stuck this morning so I initiated a third character repair and waited an hour before logging in, just in case, and my character is now unstuck. For now anyway. I lost my personal hangar, but that was expected.

I did the character repair while on the loading screen, but I'm not sure it makes a difference, since I did the same yesterday and it didn't work.

When I made my character I tried to choose Orison as my starting location and got an error so I chose somewhere else and it worked, however all my stuff is at Orison even though I started at New Babbage.

StarHiker79 wrote:Same bug commonly happened in last patch. If you clicked multiple locations, your inventory and home location likely got separated.

StarHiker79 wrote:Maybe. In last patch, at least in the beginning, it didn't work. If it doesn't, easiest just to go physically check the place you clicked before successfully selecting your home location.

NPCs overpowered (FPS)

Either way, I think it needs to be said. FPS NPCs are brutal this patch and not in a fun way. They incap in seconds, using Custodians. I'm medding constantly, even when playing methodically and carefully.

You definitely tuned them way up in 4.4 and I think you overdid it CIG.

It's compounded as well by having higher damaging weapons in the 4.4 mission locations (Deadrig, Pulverizer)

They seem to be ignoring their accuracy %!

Apparently the FPS AI difficulty with 4.4 is unintentional. How do you feel about them possibly being nerfed again?

Zac Preece wrote:To be clear it's not a nerf that will be done, it's an unintended bug that is effecting accuracy. It's having shots hit when they shouldn't, bypassing the balance params. Possibly affecting ships as well!

Understand some people like it and that feedback is heard and will be digested after we fix it.

There are lots of parameters that go into that calculation such as the faction, the weapon, distance to target, angle to target and many more.

For example some factions fire for longer, are more reckless / play safe and this effects their behavior and accuracy.

We also have ranks within the NPCs that make them more accurate such as 'captains' or 'grunts'.
