Did my Love Letter to Paizo depress you? It shouldn't, if you read it together with the attached commentary. Taken together the mood should rather be ecstatic: the exact opposite of depressive. There has never been a greater time for gaming and roleplaying: the sheer amount of top-quality content and powerful tools at our disposal today has never been attained before. But if you still aren't getting the picture, check this out:

After finishing his Curse of Strahd adaptation a couple years ago, Beneos started work on the second-most popular D&D 5E campaign: Descent into Avernus, and he's now about halfway through it. In the video above you can see the landing page and menus and overworld exploration that make it look exactly like a CRPG. It's a long video but if you even spend two minutes skimming it you'll get the picture. It's incredible.

Moreover, ON TOP of the soundtrack that Beneos's composers are writing with every scene, we ALREADY have a SECOND full soundtrack by Travis Savoie. I linked it ages ago, here it is again:

I think Descent into Avernus will take Beneos another year or two, and then he'll probably move to Tomb of Annihilation, which btw Travis Savoie has also already scored. They're choosing the exact same campaigns because they're the most popular and best ones, from the early years of 5E when Wizards was still trying. And they're making bank on them, so they have no reason to stop until they adapt all of them.

Meanwhile I am building large chunks of Pathfinder in TaleSpire that's even more impressive than what you've seen above.

There is zero reason to blackpill. It is now the Cult Games era, and I am in full control of the videogame industry. Nothing can go wrong.
